What exactly is permanent jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a custom-fit chain welded directly onto your wrist, neck, or ankle using a specialized micro-welder. Because there is no clasp, it remains securely in place until you decide to remove it.
Does the welding process hurt?
Not at all. The process is quick, painless, and completely safe. The spark only reacts with the metal of the chain, never touching your skin.
What materials do you use for your chains?
We use high-quality, tarnish-resistant materials including 14k Solid Gold, 14k Gold Filled, and Sterling Silver to ensure your jewelry maintains its shine through daily wear.
What happens if I need to remove it for a medical procedure?
If you need to remove your jewelry for an MRI or surgery, you can easily snip it at the jump ring with a pair of scissors. Save your chain, and we will happily re-weld it for a small service fee.
Can I wear my permanent jewelry through airport security?
Yes! TSA does not require you to remove fine jewelry, so your Sunstone pieces will not be an issue when traveling through airport scanners.
Do you offer a warranty on the weld?
We take pride in our craftsmanship. We offer a 30-day guarantee on the integrity of the weld. If your chain breaks at the weld point within this timeframe, we will re-weld it for free.
